About Us
Liv Atkins founded Okia Food in 2020 after spending five years as a private chef travelling internationally with her clients. She trained at Leith’s School of Food and Wine after growing up being inspired by the food grown in her mother’s vegetable garden and cooked for dinner the same day. This has had a lasting effect on the way she has developed as a chef, with sustainability and provenance at the heart of her cooking.
